Mechanical Estimator

 J&K Plumbing and Heating Co., Inc. is looking for experienced Mechanical Estimator for Public and Private Customers  in the Southern  Tier,  Central and Eastern New York State.

The opening is in the Binghamton office. The candidate will be expected to:

• Be familiar with Plumbing, HVAC and Industrial Mechanical Systems
• Read and understand blue prints and specifications
• Be familiar with computer based mechanical estimating programs
• Prepare quantity take-offs for bids
• Read and understand quotes and proposals from Vendors and Subcontractors
• Prepare detailed project estimates including cost, schedule and contract requirements
• Have strong written and oral communication skills
• Represent J&K with the customer and other project team members
