The recent court ruling against Co-op contracting in the public sector in New York marks a significant shift in the construction landscape. The allegation was the school district awarded a capital improvement project, valued at around ten million dollars, without going though the New York states public bidding process. in February of 2025 the judge ruled in favor of the petitioners.
